Hello. I have just commissioned 2 x 300Ah NG 12.8v batteries in parallel. Each battery has been topped off individually and each battery has had a light cycle, only about 2% SoC. There is a Cerbo, MultiPlus Inv/Charger and MPPT as chargers.

I am finding I must be mis-understanding how the balancing information is used by the Lynx. I have seen the Lynx say the batts are balanced (when the cells are 3.36 to 3.38v) and say unbalanced when they were all 3.38.

Does balancing status refer to the difference in cell voltages (vs battery voltages) and how do I get these batts balanced?

Did you charge the batteries until the BMS showed “balanced”?

I connected the batteries to the Inverter / Charger - and just left them to charge. That was for about 24-48 hours. Should I have done something extra?
