When forming a 51.2V NG battery pack. How can you add an additional 51.2V battery into the existing pack if the SOC between the existing and new are different?
Do you have to have them within a specific voltage range before connection?
How is the current between the two units limited to 100A or less to protect the battery elements?
You should change both batteries to the same level before you connect them together.
Charge the “old” battery to 100% and disconnect it, then connect the new battery, charge it to 100% and then you can connect them together safely.
