Can the connect app display two smart shunts?

Hello there

Simple question I hope – can the current Victron Connect app display data from two smart shunts?

In my case one smart shunt will monitor the 1x starter battery and 1x house battery in the middle of the boat, and the second smart shunt will monitor the 1x bow thruster battery, several metres away, which is a totally isolated circuit.

I’ve looked online and got conflicting answers – I suspect some will refer to earlier versions of the app when it could not do this?

Many thanks

Steve

yes you can see data from two smart shunts on the VictronConnect app. And you can rename them to make it easier to identify.

I don’t know where you looked online, the answer is “yes, of or whyever not”

If you want a wong answer… ask the new Google with IA, we never thought it was possible to create something dumber then mankind, AI made it come true,

Can you explain the exact steps? I have 4 IP65 smartshunts (port, sbd, house, thruster), but cannot figure out how to rename them on the connect app. I’ve looked everywhere on the app.

You can also switch on instant readout there as well and then have all the data on the victron connect home screen.

Renaming a product is also in the manual with video instructions.

Yes, thank you. It renames while and if in the individual smartshunt product page,
but at the ‘Device list’ home page, reverts back to the default names, so I still do not know which is which unless I remember serial numbers.

Also, does not preserve the names after closing the app.

This is on Android 15

Interesting. On my device, that page does not remember ANY of my devices (smartshunts, smart chargers, cerbo). Once I select each individual device and go to it’s page, the renamed title appears…

I have the latest rev of the app, updated last week.
I will check to see how it behaves on my samsung tablet.
Thanks

I can confirm it works correctly on my Samsung tablet, but not on my Pixel 8 Pro.
Confirm it does not work correctly even after uninstall-reinstall.
