When looking at the Dashboard on VRM, in Installation Data I can choose between System Overview, Consumption, Solar, Generator and Shore – but System Overview only plots Battery SoC and kWh for Consumption and Solar. Why doesn’t it also plot kWh for Generator and Shore?
Sorry, don’t understand what you mean – where do I “mark this as input”?
I don’t know what inverter you have. A quattro has two inputs and you can change labels on them (they are pre labelled).
But if you change the name of the input even for a multiplus is track the generator like this. But it is a vit trickier you have to change the label every time you change source
In the GX menu
Settings - systems set up -
I think you’ve misunderstood – inputs are correctly labelled and appear in VRM as such, and I can select them and look at kWh (see popup selection box) – but the System Overview only shows Consumption, Solar and Battery (SoC), not Generator and Shore. I can’t see any way to add these to the plot…
So I guess there’s no way to do this today then?
Victron, any chance of changing this in future? Shouldn’t be difficult, the data is already there…
Generator kWh production is shown on the System overview,
But only if it exists in the time frame selected, increase your window to a longer time frame that includes that production and you will see it appear.
Thanks for clarifying that. However the same doesn’t apply to shore power, this never shows up. Can this be changed so – like generator power – it appears if any power is drawn from it?
