Hello there,
I got a system with a Multiplus 2, cerbo, rs450 and would like to add a second multiplus 2 that would work on the same battery BUT would just be cascaded on the first multi 2 output (in case i need more power). Would it be possible to connect a BPP on the second Multiplus 2 VE.BUS and control it through its interface…?
Would it be better to use an MK3 and connect the second multiplus 2 to the cerbo and control it through the cerbo…?
Dunno if my situation is clear enough. I specially need to switch the second inverter on/off easily, to reduce the no load power draw.
For what i’ve read, a multiplus ii when off got no AC output even if AC IN is powered…right ?
You can only connect one multiplus on VE.BUS for what i know, only a mk3 would work to connect a second one to the cerbo.
Yea, the reason i ask, cause maybe the bpp can’t really display data from “new” devices mike multiplus ii.
There can be multiple devices on a VE.BUS network but not 2 Multiplus ii, only if they are in parallels.
And no…2 ports are not here for multiple bus but for chaining.
