BMV712 Consumed Amp Hours trend data not saved when app is closed

,

Latest version of app and firmware. Dealer directed me here for Victron factory support. Trend data works fine for current, voltage, state, power, and temperature. Consumed Amp Hours shows trend line only when app is connected and open. Even if my phone screen goes off it stops drawing the trend.

I want to compare Consumed Amp Hours to State of Charge to verify both batteries are working..

As ever, the answer is easy to find in the VictronConnect manual. Section 11.1, stored trends. Consumed Ah is not listed as a stored variable.

  • BMV-712 Smart and SmartShunt support trends for Battery voltage, Current, State of Charge as well as the Aux input (battery temperature, or midpoint deviation, or starter battery voltage.

The only difference between SOC and consumed Ah is the Peukert effect whereby a lead acid battery has a higher capacity at low discharge current and lower capacity at higher discharge current. As a trial you could set Peukert exponent to 1.0 so that SOC tracks consumed Ah.

Thanks for the reply! I did read that but comprehension is another issue.
