Hi I have recently replaced my 5 basic 110ah domestic batteries with 5 96ah Yuasa swl2500tfr gell batteries.

I am struggling to set the battery setting on the BMV correctly. I would appreciate any help . I have a 12v system.

my current settings are

capacity 480 ah

charged voltage 13.2 volts

current measurement direction normal

discharge floor 20%

tail current 4.00%

charged detection time 3min

Peukert exponant 1.25

charge efficiency factor 99%

current threshold 0.10A

time to go averaging period 3min

battery soc on reset clear

synchronize soc to 100 synchronize

zero current calibration calibrate

I would increase your Charged voltage to 13.6V, and the charged time to 1 hour. With your settings, the BMV will reset to 100% while the battery is still charging.

Possibly also increase the tail current to 10%, allowing 2% for each battery, with 5 in parallel.
