Is it possible to get monitor gauges and cables only for the two BMV-700H shunt and Monitor kits I have? All I have is the shunts and boxes. The monitor gauges and cables have disappeared from our project and the dealers I’ve contacted have not been a whole lot of help because it appears I have something a bit different.
I have been tasked with getting an 80ft catamaran with two 50hp electric motors figured out and running. I have two battery banks. Each bank has (9) 12v/220AH batteries wired in series. Batteries are marked with a cycle use 14.5-14.9, stand by use 13.5-13.8 initial current 55A.
This boat was brought to where it’s at now at without any monitors being used and there is no solar on the boat yet. 120v A/C powered chargers were being used to Charge the Batteries. I have no idea of the current condition of the batteries other than both banks did eventually charge and shut off.
With the voltages I’m seeing using a meter and checking victron website the regular BMV-700 (max of 96 volts) will not work since my batteries sit at higher voltages. I need the 700H models but only the monitor gauges and cables. Any suggestions that don’t require me to spend full price for two new kits?
