BMV-600S connecting to Cerbo

Compatibility of BMV-600s V212 & VE.Direct Bluetooth

Hi, On the Victron site I saw an instruction for the BMV-600s where it states one can add the VE.Direct cable to the BVM. Looking at the plug, it has a 4-pin plug, as does the BVM. But it does not fit. I thought VE.Direct Bluetooth is the same as “VE.Direct”. No?? Thanks in advance for your help… [IMG_5760]

I have connected it to a Cerbo via the serial port.
How accurate it is I am not sure.

Ah, that’s a ~13-year-old unit, which is probably why there was an initial issue. The 600S is not listed as possible to connect - see here: 14. Compatible Victron products
A modern battery monitor would have the current standard VE.Direct port, but once you go beyond a decade, some variances come into play.
