It would be great to have the ability to turn off charging via software for the Smart IP22 Battery Charger in the Victron connect app in a similar way to the way it can be done in smart mppt controllers and Orion’s 50A dc2dc charger.
Perhaps a similar simple switch like night mode.
Currently it’s requires turning off at the 110/220v source or setting to charge float voltage low or set low in power supply mode. The lowest current setting appears to 7.5A.
Workaround is a zigbee or similar power switch but would I feel there would be less risk of the plug coming loose in my RV when driving.
There is come inconsistency, in the MPPT it’s under the battery setting and the Orion it’s just under settings albeit the feature does exist.
I’m assuming the hardware technically can support it.
I’m currently using the 12v/30A single BPC123047012.
