Hi
Our system has a Quattro 48/10000/140, with BMV700 & Venus GX.
Today we have started having an issue where the battery is only receiving 100 W of charge current, while the system has a 60 kVA generator connected.
The generator has been running since around midday today, when SoC was around 40%. (Tried to add some graphs, but image uploads are failing here for me at the moment), The System - Battery Power jumped up to 2 kW when the generator starts running.
The charge current stays stable for around 15 minutes, then gradually drops. It’s around 1 kW by 10 am and reaches 100 W around 6pm and it’s stayed there since. The SoC at 6pm was 60% and it has remained at that level since (it’s now 11pm). The inverter state in remote console is showing Absorption.
The AC load has been low all day and increased to around 2 kW around 6pm. It has been fluctuating since then (peaking around 4.5 kW), but this doesn’t look to have any bearing on the battery power.
We have checked the AC input current limit through remote console and that’s set to 32 A. The DVCC is set to 51 A.
What we don’t understand is why the input current would be slowly dropping- this system is around 4 years old, it’s rarely used and we’ve not had any issues like this before and no settings have been changed (not intentionally anyway!).
Can anyone shed some light on what the cause of this slow charging could be?
Thanks
