Batteries on Cerbo GX

I have 2 Basengreen batteries, in parallel, connected to my Multiplus II. The batteries’ BMS are interconnected via RS485 as suggested by the make.
Now, should I see this set as a single battery or as 2 batteries on the VRM/Remote console?

Usually when batteries are comms connected in one bank, they appear as one device as they are one bank.
What should change is the CCL and DCL- if they are communicating properly you should see multiples of the specs of one. (E.g. 50A DCL h one battery, for 2 batteris DCL will be 100A)

I guess I thought my batteries were communicating properly to the Multiplus but it is not.

What happens if I connect a battery that does not have a BMS?
How can I know that Multiplus is getting data, in a way it understand, from the BMS?

Then you need a smartshunt, i personally prefer “drop in replacements” that ofc have an internal bms to protect the batteries and for cell equalization, but do not communicate .

I even use such a battery as starter battery.

Thank you, but the problem is solved. Please look at this thread:

This thread has nothing to do with the question i answered

Sorry Ludo, you right… My initial problem was about seeing 2 batteries or 1. I learned, on the other thread, that the problem was a communication problem. Now I know that I can connect the 2 batteries that have a BMS and everything goes ok.

Sorry again! And thank you for your time responding to my question.
