So I discovered that my low battery issue was apparently from one bad Battle Born 24/50. Case deformed, never could charge above 25vdc. Remainder of the 5 in that string will only individually charge to 26.8 and then float. The bad boy was the last ( therefore it’s positive to fuse and inverter) My other 6 batt string is charging properly and I am using only that string and genny as the others are individually and sequentially being charged by the Victron 12/24 charger which has been set to high ( Bluetooth)
Warranty issues on the failure are in process, and BB has a very good reputation for warranty responses. My question is how may I proceed? Should I reconnect 4 of the better bats of that 2nd string and see if the system will bring them up? or is it possible the one bad batt had damaged the entire string? Would I endanger the good string by doing so? Thanks in advance.
