When reporting electricity consumption daily, the graph is generated relative to the current time. This is correct. However, in the daily history, the next day’s countdown is based on a different time. Please add the ability to automatically generate reports based on the actual time zone, or at least manually. Not everyone uses London time.
The mppt itself has no internal clock in it. Day start is usually calculated from power on from the solar side.
No, it’s tied to a specific time zone in the history, but it doesn’t adjust to where we are. After all, if you open the graph with power and energy, there’s a specific time that’s pulled from your device. But in the history, it’s a fixed time value. Let me explain why this is inconvenient. If my time zone is +10 hours, the minimum data will show completely different data, like when the battery is charging and discharging. In short, it would be great to have such an option.
Ok. Agian there is no real time clock in the device itself. So it cannot tell the time as a watch can.
So it is also possible the time of the day the mppt was first started when it was installed has to some degree influenced when it calculating its day reset time. In other words it is using 11am to 12am to start a new day. Again it is not related to time zone.
Initially, the controller assumes a default night/day length (e.g., midnight is 6 h after sunset).
Some have managed to reset its day calculation by disconnecting the device overnight (battery and solar) and reconnecting it first thing in the morning.
In the sectionof the manual where it talks about the streetlight function is describes how it works out its days
