Argofet 200-3 Three batteries 200A battery isolator

The instructions that came with it state that it cannot be mounted on a flammable surface. My boat is made out of fiberglass a marine plywood. It’s all flammable so where or how can I mount it? Is there a fire proof backing material that I can use to separate it from the marine plywood panel that it will be mounted on? Does Victron Energy make and sell a backing plate for it that is inflammable?

Be aware that the device can run hot under full current. Use a sheet of aluminium behind the product to reflect heat away from the glass / plywood surface, and possibly also use spacers between the product and the aluminium to increase circulation of air.

Yes. Someone else suggested the spacers and/or the metal plate. Both of them in conjunction sounds better still. Thank you.
