Greetings, I currently have a 110v 60Hz split phase system with 2 48/10000/140 Quatro inverters and 130KwH of lifepo4 batteries. We are not connected to the grid at all.
My mother is moving to the US and she wants (demands) that she bring all her UK kitchen appliances ( Mainly her tea kettle). I ordered a 5000 watt 230v 50hz victron mutiplusII inverter charger and before we shipped all my mom’s belongings I went to a local hardware store and picked up a UK breaker box and a few UK outlets.
If I plug this new inverter into my current Cerbo GX with the VE.Bus will I have any issues? Will my current VE.Bus network freak out?
This is my current system before adding the new inverter.

You cannot mix different inverters into a single inverter group. That alone will prevent you from adding it to your existing VE.Bus network. You could add the inverter to your Cerbo GX using a MK3-USB adapter, which gives you a second VE.Bus connected to the Cerbo. This would allow you to use your existing battery bank and Lynx shunt to keep tabs on available energy. I do not know how this will integrate and look on the main screen of the Cerbo.
You’re a good son, but consider gifting her some new small appliances
I do have a USB Mk3 that you speak of. I will try it out and see. Good thing you mentioned that, I was just going to add it to the daisy chain my current system has with the Ethernet cables.
I’m not about to take a Brit’s kettle away, they are very passionate about them and the speed they boil water.

Brother, I hear you. But guess what? We have water kettles here too. I’m exclusively a tea drinker myself. Here at my shop, we have a cheap Amazon water boiler that heats water in a few minutes. I think it cost $25 yankee bucks. But at home I have one of these: Water Boilers & Warmers - Zojirushi Online Store
