Hi
Is there a way to add inline translation for the posts on a board?
I see a bunch of international members, but now all languages my brain can easily digest.
I can use browser for translation, but sometimes having inline translation like we see in FaceBook or Twitter would be more convenient.
I don’t believe this is possible, yet. We can check.
In the meanwhile, go to the Other language category, select the bell icon (top right) and select mute.
This will hide all the other languages. You can still access them via a muted category box at the bottom of the page.
Well, in the meanwhile, select the text on the page, right-click and choose your browsers translate option.
The plugin does not appear to be active. It is something that incurs cost for every translation that uses the available (MS, Google etc) api.
Usually, on the old forum, you put into google translate the link to a topic and google will show a page with the page translated in the chosen language.
The engine of this forum doesn’t allow you to do this… Which is sad and a regression…
All good
Google Chrome has contextual solution to translate a page, it just not always convenient versus inline where it translates only needed part
Thank you, disregard
Works… Kinda…
During reading a topic and using the inline translation, I’ve got this message that broke my enthusiasm…
Am I reading to fast?
Is there a setting for this?
Thanks!

This is a limited API service, so it has limits to prevent abuse (robots basically).
I have increased the allowed limit from 3 to 6 translations per minute, per person.
Let me know if you still have issues and I can increase it further (to a point).
