This space in the Victron Community is intended to support the beginner & DIY installer in the small off-grid, RV and small marine sectors. It’s expected that topics started and moved here will be more for basic issues, may need a bit of extra support, and have less prior knowledge. More sophisticated questions and answers should be posed in the main Q&A space.
Advice and guidance will be offered to focused pre-purchase design questions, but requests for complete system design or specification will not be supported and such advice is best sought through the dealer and installer network.

Finally, when asking a question, please include details of your equipment, otherwise the first response is usually a request for more information. This includes information such as equipment type and specific model, system voltage(s). how the equipment is connected electrically, how the equipment is connected data wise, battery type and capacity and for lithium it the BMS is connected to the Victron system or not.
