I did a similar upgrade and just bolted both Pylontech cables straight to two M8 lugs on Quattro 5000.
Previously, I had one lug for Pylontech (2 batteries - voltage sag under load, but took care not to load too much) and second lug for MPPT on my temporary setup.
But now I want to add 1 or 2 MPPTs and promote it to a permanent installation, so I bought a Distributor, and I’m thinking 208A (peak Quattro power) deserves some good connection from side M10 lugs to the inverter.
I don’t think it’s possible to crimp a M8 on 70 mm2 cable, and crimping 2x M8-M10 35 mm2 short cable pairs and fitting them around both sides of protruding Lynx bars seems like the only viable option. Could probably get away with single pair of very short 50 mm2 cables too, but M8 connection to Quattro becomes a weak point.

I’m really surprized it’s impossible to find a block of metal that fits straight from Lynx into Quattro/MultiPlus.
Does anyone know if those can be ordered somewhere as custom? Do I have to make those myself?
Yes, I know both PowerIn and Distributor were not originally meant to be used like this (but everyone seems to be doing it anyway), and inverter usually just goes on one of the M8s inside.
p.s.: I’ll also be using GitHub - twam/dbus-lynx-distributor: Plugin for Venus OS to readout Lynx Distributor with Lynx Smart BMS · GitHub (pictures in Lynx Distributor Protocol - #8 by twam ) with Adafruit board to monitor the fuses; each 120A Pylontech cables and MPPTs will have their own fuse.
