I have a simple two 100 ah Victron ng batteries in parallel that I want to connect to a Lynx 500 ng. Should the batteries be paralleled prior to the Lynx so that only one + wire and one - wire are connected to the Lynx, or should the batteries be paralleled at the Lynx. This would mean stacking the lugs at the Lynx. I don’t have space to use a Lynx distributor.
Most ideal is individual connections to the bus bar.
Depending on your setup the lynx which is technically 4 way can actually be 6 if you (are creatively) use the endme connections that wre for bolting more onto the system.
If you do take off both ends and just have kne connection dont forget to use a bigger gauge wire. Its not a terrible thing with 2 batteries it does become more of an issue with 3 and above.
