3-phase quattro ess system limiting charge to battery

We have a 3-phase quattro system (3 x 8kva) with 8 x BSL 5.1kwh batteries, 24 x 595w Jinko panels (14.2KW) and 1 x 450V 200A MPPT controller.

This system limits the charge into the batteries at around 2.5KW - no matter how much solar is available. We can measure this by enabling feed back into the grid- the solar charge increases dramatically when feedback is enabled. - easily to 160A. Under normal operating settings - it limits to 2.5KW max.

We have checked all relevant settings that we can find.

any suggestions please.

Note that the client has 3 other systems of similar size - all are maximising solar charge to the battery.

If you allow DC sources to feed into the system, the limitations are removed. This is often a problem with old systems with lead batteries that cannot absorb the enormous power.
On the DC side, the charging voltage MUST be increased by around 0.4V to ensure saturation of the toroidal core for surplus feed-in on the AC side. This naturally increases solar production massively. It is essential to ensure that the batteries and fuses can absorb the power in this situation. With a Victron Multi, the battery always plays the main role as the primary energy source. The battery is therefore always considered the charging priority. It should always be charged as quickly as possible. The rest comes later.
