3-phase MPII-5kVA + 4 DIY battery sets + 2x PV "on-grid" inverters + 3x PV Hoymiles inverters

One of my installations, built for a friend.

3-phase system built with Multiplus II 5kVA, Cerbo GX, Lynx (modded with fuses inside) and DC switches from Victron.

DC storage built with modded steel boxes by my own design. 2x EVE 280Ah + 2x EVE 314Ah. Managed by JK BMS Inverter (PB series, V15.x).

2x Victron EV Charging stations - one visible on the right, second outdoor, under carport.

Originally there were two PV inverters on the wall, both on-grid. Third PV installation we built with 3x Hoymiles microinverters on a carport.

Hager distribution cabinets are used here to manage AC IN/AC OUT cables, 3-phase AC grid/victron switch (bypass for the whole system), AC meters, AC fuses for both visible PV inverters, Victron system, car charger in the garage + AC power distribution to deliver the power for carport.

At the carport there is additional distribution cabinet with AC fuses for the second EVCS and 3x Hoymiles microinverters - each microinverter connected separately to the different phase.

Two PV installations located at the home roof are connected “after” bypass switch, so in case of Victron operations they are on the AC OUT, and in case of bypass enabled, they are connected in between grid and home, still operating. Hoymiles is disconnected when bypass is enabled.

Cerbo hosted Node-RED is involved in managing the Hoymiles power via OpenDTU API. Depending on the sun production, in case of need for grid export limitation, power is automatically limited - when export power exceed the value from the grid operator agreement. This part of automation was built by my friend himself, I only delivered the hardware and configured it.

Not sure what to describe more. Like I said, one of those I’ve built. Most advanced. For now.

Nice system - and similar to mine

Would yo mind to share your NodeRed OpenDTU throtteling flow?

With Venus OS 3.60 relased today, SunSpec throttling has been announced.
I added this as a requst at OpenDTU.
