150/70 problems

New system. On my RV I have two 450 W panels connected to a 150/70 and two 275 W panels connected to a 100/50. Both worked flawlessly for 3 months until recently. Charge parameters on both set at 13.7 Float and 14.4 Absb. Circuit breakers before and after each controller, then connected to a Distributor. The 70 will not get out of float even when manipulating charge parameters to over ride.. My . A number of complete shut downs did not work. Full system shut down did not change the problem. PV voltages into each controller are correct. Battery voltage out of the 50 is correct. Battery voltage out of 70 is always .5V higher that actual voltage. After a shut down on the 70, the voltages immediately spikes to 15.4V and finally settles at the programmed voltage of 14.4 @ 1A. My thinking is that the controller is the issue. I would appreciate your opinions. Thanks

.

Are you getting any charge current out of the 70?

Are these smart controllers that you can monitor via VE-Connect? (or if you have VE-direct connection?)

It would appear that there may be a high resistance in the Positive or negative battery conductor of the /70 controller…

There are O amps coming out of the controller. I should have also stated that when after a reboot of the 70 - PV disconnected first then battery and reverse on start-up, the voltage immediately jumps to over 15.4 and settles on my absorb setting of 14.4. If I lower the absorb setting the controller mimic’s that setting. I experimented with 5-6 different settings. 4/0 battery cables, 10 gauge into controller from PV a max of 10’ run, 2 gauge out of the 70 and 4 gauge out of the 50. All lugs fastened with hydraulic crimper, All cables & lugs clean with dialectric grease. All fasteners torqued. # 6 grounds. Cerbo GX, V.E. Con. in.
