I bought a 100v 30amp solar controller to go between my panels and my starting battery on my sailboat. Downline from my starter battery I am going to use a Victron 12v DC to DC non-isolated charger to go to my house battery which is a 300ah LiFePo battery. Do I need an isolated charger instead since the battery types are different? Thanks!
It rather depends on how you want to wire it and if you have noise sensitive equipment.
Isolated means there are separate negatives.
Non isolated means it can have a common negative.

We have used the non isolated between the engine and lithium house bank, it is fine to do so.
