I am sorry to be asking this but i ( and my installer ) i have a 2016 mercedes autosleeper winchcombe and i asked him to fit a b2b as i have just installed a pair of nano gel auxillery batteries and was informed i would need a b2b, he fitted it and i left for france the following day, i discovered i was losing 2-3 amps from my 100% charged batteries and by the time i got to folkstone i was down to 93% and even i realised something was not right. Uk spec motohomes aux electrics are cut while driving so i knew nothing was draining it. I have now been informed its likely that the split charger was not disconnected and the installer told me thats how he does it, and if i am correct with both charges being connected it creates a loop and back charges the engine battery - i am not an electrician so please dont blind me with science, and now being diagnosed for cancer i dont need the grief. BUT can you tell me how to resolve this please ? the fitter is coming back to attempt to resolve it but if you can give clear instructions and maybe a diagram would be a REALLY helpful - thank you very much.
