Yes, indeed, I’m doing that already for years but with a Letra beer, hahaha, see my posts/topics, you know what I mean, making bog standard solutions for the main stream issues, you too, seen your activity many times…
One of the most useful things when you go the DIY route is a video or a list with the top 5 or top 10 mistakes people make when building a system. In the last years of the internet, I’ve found these summaries or videos really helpful, because sometimes it’s not a matter of pure knowledge but of the problems that can arise when you do something for the first time.
Nate with Explorist has one of these lists. My favorite/most frustrating one is people who buy equipment before they plan out their system. I run into this all the time personally and see it frequently on this site. “Hey Guys, I bought a Multiplus, Cerbo and some weird Chinese batteries, can you guys tell me how to make it work?” I think an overarching theme here is that many customers really want more than Victron, or perhaps many manufacturers, are able or willing to supply in support. Unfortunately that is the consumer climate we live in.
Hahaha, correct, I have to post, , yes I have humour also, I’m not just technical….hahaha.
The moderators will kick our ass I think, but again, absolutely correct, lately, one guy bought a 6K Fronius Primo, 3x3K multi2, all on 1 phase, Cerbo, and then it started with a local elec, what where which and the who was of course me…Oeps…sorry…and they say 400euri is a lot for one day commissioning and taking out connection errors, cheap and complaining, we are done with such customers, and as you say, its getting worse, AI is not a help, it’s 50/50, not a help at all, only making more confusion.
