Why does my lynx shunt show incorrect battery percentage

Hi why does my lynx shunt configure

the battery % incorrectly. I am constantly synchronisng the batteries to 100% when the batteries meet max power, i havent done this for a week now (because i wondered what would happen if i didnt) but the Lynx shunt is mirroring the BMS voltage but has incorrect percentage. Now the system has shut itself off because it thinks the batteries are at 10% but in fact the batteries are 56%.

How can I configure the bms with lynx shunt to make sure the percentage is correct

Is anything connected to the battery bank besides the shunt?

Usually when this sort of thing occurs it’s because there are loads and/or chargers connected directly to the battery bank and bypassing the shunt.

You could also have the wrong settings, post a screenshot of your settings in Victron Connect or list them along with the type of batteries and absorption voltage that you use.

Critical piece of info is battery type and capacity and absorption voltage (charging voltage) would be very useful as well. The settings are for lead acid / AGM batteries, if you have lithium they are wrong and will result in incorrect SOC. Please confirm the info and we can advise.
