What kind of screw connectors does the Smartsolar 100/20 have?

I see from Victron’s “Wiring Unlimited” manual that I should be fitting ferrules to my wires if I am connecting using standard screw connectors. The thing is, I can’t find any information about what kind of screw connectors are fitted to my Victron MPPT 100/20 control unit. It is very difficult to check by looking since the connectors are heavily recessed.

Can anyone confirm what kind of screw connectors are fitted to the Smartsolar 100/20 unit please?

The guidance for mppts was not to use ferrules. There is a topic on this.
If the “wrong” type is used you can have issues.

See Guy’s comment on this old topic:

That’s useful to know. I dislike relying on crimps and trusting that the fitting is made of the best, most conductive material. Always feels a bit of a gamble.

I’ll read the thread, thanks.

Rising clamp (1), so ferrules are not necessary.

They are necessary where the clamp is a screw that screws down (3) and can cut the fine strands. (Like earth bar and neutral bars in a DB)
