What is the correct fuse for Lynx distributor and 48volt system

I have the Lynx distributor and the input is 2 X 48volt 55amp LiPo Batteries. I have a 48 volt 10KW Thunderstruck electric motor as the main output. Input is a 2 X 300Watt 24Volt Solar Panels in series and a 20amp max 48volt battery charger connected to a 2000W generator.

I have the battery feeding into the main connections to the Lynx distributor but I am trying to work out the fuses to use for the output and input connections. In my beginner understanding the fuse must be able to handle an amp draw larger than the required from the connected device - but less than the max amps the wire can handle. ( There is a separate fuse on the negative battery terminal.)

For output to the motor ( max draw is 100amps because of a fuse before the motor as battery output 100amps ) and the wire is a 200AMP 0Guage so I calculate that we need a 125 AMP 48volt mega fuse for this connection.

The solar panels at 300 watt series / 48volt can output under 7amps ( if I have this correct) and the wire is 25amp - WHAT FUSE WOULD I USE HERE?

All the mega fuses for 48volt seem too big in terms of amps - or would a midi 48volt fuse work here? Do I need to increase the wire size?

The same issue with the 48 volt battery charger - that can output around 8 amps with a max of 20amps - the wire is 25amps - so a similar fuse is needed as per solar panel connection.I realise I may have to increase the wire size here.

Any help with fuse selection would be appreciated.

The Lynx Distributor is designed for much higher currents than you are using as you have found out.

You understand that a fuse has to be at least 1.25 times max continuous current and at most the current rating of the cable so nothing to add here.

You 10kW motor at nominal 48V will consume 200A, I hope you have some form of speed or power control to keep the current draw to 100A max.

For the chargers put the smallest fuse you can in one of the Lynx slots, Victron sell a 40A Mega fuse for 80V. Then use 40A rated cables to go to a smaller fuse holder and fit your 10A to 20A fuses for the chargers and use 25A cable. Or go with the 80V 40A fuses in 2 slots and use 40A cabling to your chargers.
