Dear All. I am the owner of a 46’ catamaran and have plans to cross the Atlantic in January.
I want to install a simple Victron Solar Panel system which must integrate with a Cristec system already installed. The Cristec system is connected to my Cummings Genset, AC shore power and my engine alternators and all work perfectly. Have 3 battery banks, one for each motor and house. My old batteries will be replaced with 3 new LiFePO4 12.8v/300Ah NG
I want to install 2 rows of panels each 3 x 185W 12v. From there into two SmartSolar MPPT 150/60-Tr and then straight on to the batteries. Fuse close to battery. Then for monitoring I thought a Victron Battery Monitor - BMV-712 Smart Grey. Do I need anymore? Every comment is much appreciated. Have a great day.
