Washer starting current, A?

Did anyone measure the starting current of modern washing machines?
I’m using an LG 7kg direct-drive motor machine. The current and power readings on the sticker are controversial.

So need help. Maybe someone can measure it with an oscilloscope while washing not heavy load on a newer 4-7 kg size washer.

I wonder if I can harm my MultiPlus || 3000VA when
12BTU Midea conditioner and the 7kg washer working simultaneously.

Take a look at the required ratings for the power outlet in the manual of the machine, there you should find the worst case.

But you can’t harm your MP2, they have protection against short circuit on the AC output and will simply shut down in case of overload.

It is not so much the motor you should be concerned with, but the heating element.

Indeed, the heating element is the worst consumer in a washing machine. Although, its PF=1 is helping somehow.
Now, with the new regulations, its heating element will not draw more than 1-1.5kW.

And an 12K BTU will draw about 1-1.2kW when working.

So add those and you’ll be awfully close to the limit of the 3000VA or 2400W how the MP2 is declared.
