VM-3P75CT shows low power-factor, but I dont understand why

I recently got one of those VM3P75CT power meters of and am using it to measure my Grid connection. I’m using this in combination with a multiplus II w gx and I noticed that the power-factor of L1 is very low.

If I calculate the apparent power, from the voltage and current then I obtain 1753 VA. This value is roughly equal to the active power, so the power-factor should be a lot closer to 1. Then it is right now.

Also I can see that the actual power and current match the Smart-Meter pretty well.

I could use some help figuring out what is going wrong here. All help, ideas and suggestions are very much appreciated!

It looks more like a sensor issue so check the actual physical installation to confirm a few things though.
Is the CT aligned ok? Clamps properly seated? Not flipped over?
This especially if it is different to the other 2. It will put the reading in a different quadrant.

I think it is a glitch resulting from the meter using the sign NOT to indicate the direction of the current, but the angle of current/voltage: It bounces between -0.99 and +0.99 depending on if the measurement is currently a bit capacitive or inductive.

And a mathematical average filter somewhere will calculate an average of “close to 0” out of this.
