Hi all,
I am installing a system which includes a Lynx Smart BMS, several batteries and an EasySolar-II GX unit. I am able to connect via Bluetooth with VictronConnect to all of the other components but the app will not connect to the Lynx Smart BMS. When it tries to connect initially with the device powered on, the flashing Bluetooth LED on the Lynx unit changes to solid, the progress bar advances to full, the message changes to ‘Fetching data’ and the background changes to the Smart BMS info page. However, before it fully loads and closes the progress bar dialog, the connection process simply resets to 1% and repeats itself over and over, causing the Bluetooth LED on the Lynx unit to start flashing again until it reaches 20%.
I have tried resetting the PIN and forgetting and re-connecting to the device using the procedure in the troubleshooting guide, uninstalling/reinstalling the app, and pretty much anything else I could think of involving power cycling or resetting things. I’m beginning to suspect it may be a faulty unit but I wanted to check here first in case anyone had any other suggestions or had seen this issue before.
