Hi, anyone have experience wit purchasing vistron products on Amazon ? What about is anything is wrong with device, who is repairing or replacing products from azmazon?
Hi, store that sells it to you is responsible, but most sellers dont know a thing about what they are selling, warranty should not be an problem unless its used and sold as new and stuff like that
however i would advice you to always buy from an official victron dealer, they can also help you in case of installation isseus
In short, the support chain gets longer when it is purchased through Amazon sellers. And then add the amazon returns problem. When alot of the time it can be a user error that is the reason the product is not working as expected.
All amazon sellers (even if they do not know what they are doing) are supplied by someone in the official distribution network. That someone will probably end up doing the warranty support. You can get a warranty support request to them through the support page. If you do find yourself in that path then you pay to move the item to and frommthe warranty centre usually.
There is no direct end user support as mentioned by @DuivertNL, so it is at the end of the day easier in that regard to use a supplier on the victron where to buy page.
Not that we don’t help here where we can.

Amazon or their marketplace may be cheaper than official suppliers and maybe you have no other option due to additional shipping costs. A remote location or whatever. It’s your choice anyway. Fact is. Like stated before me. Warranty might take longer or eventually become a hassle that you likely don’t want to deal with.

That is the Victron Storefront on Amazon, which Victron maintains to ensure accurate information and etc. But since Victron does not sell directly to the end-user, what you will find is that every listing on the storefront has a multitude of 3rd-party sellers. Some of them are great, some of them are not.
