Lately it appears my SOC readout is jumping all over. But then, after talking to the battery manufacturer, it seemed like I should be paying more attention to voltage on the batteries, which I started doing. Trying to adjust the SOC to that when it got 100%, but that still is not making it close.. last night my system shut off because of low-voltage which it has not done in six years. State of charge was still saying 77%, which obviously was not correct. I reset the SOC to 20% based on the floor being set at 20 and the chart Simpli-Phi sent me.
As soon as the sun came up, system started charging and system came back online. It has been in bulk all day long. I am posting screenshots of the dashboard and the readings from the solar charger. Four simpli-phi 3.8 batteries, Victron 250/100 MPPT, Cerbo GX. I have eight 330 W panels. Trying to understand the absorption and float settings and when it gets out of bulk. Just seems like it’s staying way too long in bulk. The dashboard screenshot is 4 o’clock in the afternoon. I do not believe the SOC readout is correct.
The manual ive found shows different charging parameters, but im not sure if its the newest version since their website doesnt load for me
You have no shunt or inverter in the system? The battery also has no communication ports if ive seen correctly, so i think that SOC is just a wild guess from the Cerbo since it has no way of actually measuring
