Battery showing %100 but DC/DC and MPPT still in bulk

Hi, I have a lithium battery and MPPT 30/100 and a DC to DC charger the battery is showing 100% but the DC to DC charger and the MPPT are still in bulk. Is there a reason for this? Does it need to get up to the high voltage first and then drop down

Some cheaper drop in batteries have very poor SOC calculation, what has probably happened is your battery SOC has misinterpreted the charging data and thought it was full. A lot of people add SmartShunts to the system and ignore the battery SOC. If you can program the SOC synchronisation in the battery BMS tjen set the charged voltage, synchronisation voltage or whatever they call it to 14.0V, 0.2V below absorption. This really is not a Victron problem. Many reports of this issues on here.

Thanks for you reply been looking over the Fogstar app and can’t seem to find anywhere to change the soc settings

You may need a password from Fogstar. Apparently the Fogstar BMS does not measure current below 1.5A so if you have lots of small discharging the SOC does not fall as quickly as it should and the SOC reads high. Changing the BMS parameters will not improve this.

The charging algorithm is based on the voltage not the SOC.
The charger is in bulk until it reaches the configured absorption voltage.
