Has anyone any experience with integrating a Huawei on-grid system with Victron? The customer already has a 240kW Huawei system but has reliability grid issues. We are thinking of implementing a Victron ESS sistem and feed the Huawei output into Victron and put all consumers on output?
Depending on the type of grid issues they have, a Victron system can help.
If the grid suffers from voltage/frequency instability but remains online, a smaller Victron install can be used with the Huawei system connected on AC In side.
This way the Victron system can be used for peak shaving and to protect from brown-outs.
If the grid goes offline regularly, you’ll need a very very big Victron system (18x 15kW + 768kWh Lithium batts) with the Huawei PV connected on AC Out.
Main reason for the very big Victron system in that case: AC-coupling and the Factor 1.0 rule [Victron Energy]
