Using V3.80~42 large image I connect two SmartPack NG batteries under the “Settings/Integration/Bluetooth Sensor” tab, and they were visible in the device list. I was also able to use these devices in Node red. Updating to V3.80~49 and both SmartPack NG batteries are not visible to the Cerbo and there is no way to re-add them. Rolling back to V3.80~42 and they reconnect.
Hello,
This is indeed correct. We removed support for the SuperPack NG batteries for now as the feature is not in the shape we want it to be. So it will not be included in the 3.80 release. We are still working on it but can give no timeline on when this will be done and which version will support the SuperPack NG batteries.

Hi Thiemo,
I completely understand removing this feature if you don’t believe it is ready for release.
It is a shame because in my case this simplified my deployments that only required basic battery monitoring and now a need to spend more time going back and doing the same function in Node Red.
Can I ask that when you make a change like this it is noted in the change log. This would have saved me and maybe others a lot of time trying to diagnose what I thought was an issue.
Thanks
HI
A real shame this was removed. Such a good feature for the battery. In simple single battery installs made life very easy especially with the new lower cost GX device also.
Hi,
In general, for every beta release that is available to the general public, a community post is made with the changelog. For the 3.80~51 beta, this changelog can be found here: Venus OS v3.80~51 available for public testing
This also mentions the change:
* Disable Lynx Smart BMS (NG) / SuperPack NG / VE.Bus BMS NG support for now. It will officially be released when feature complete.
So we do try to mention these kinds of changes, although maybe sometimes we forget something.
With kind regards,
