V3.60~59 DESS does not honor grid setpoint

I have tried adjusting grid setpoint to get grid consumption near zero when DESS is in selfconsume strategy, but it does not seem to have an effect.

Looks like someone had it working with a previous OS version Grid-Setpoint at DESS - #15 by grua

Our grid power balance, according to our smart meter, seems to hover around 50W buy from the grid. We are using Multiplus II 48/5000 GX + VM-3P75CT, all loads on AC in, nothing on AC out. With our electricity prices, this 50W load causes a yearly cost which is not insignificant.

Overnight consumption from grid, DESS in selfconsume, about 50W on average

Grid setpoint -20W, which is just one of the values I tried

Sure, lowering the grid setpoint from apparent DESS internal 50W would cause a little bit of feedin every now and then. This does not matter, since we have quarter hour net metering. Imports & exports are totalled at the end of each quarter hour, and the result is used for billing.

With DESS disabled, the system responds to the grid setpoint, and I can tune the power balance to near zero. Only a very small export.

This is achieved with a grid setpoint of -20 so I suppose there is a roughly 30W offset between the smart meter and VM-3P75CT. This effectively makes the DESS cause a buy of 50-80W all the time it is in self consumption mode.

Is this behaviour intentional? Feels more like a bug to me?

As far as I know, the grid set point is ignored during DESS mode. It is the same in my installation since the beginning of DESS. But perhaps other can also confirm.
