So I’m a bit on the fence but leaning heavily toward using 2 48/5000 multiplus II running 240 split phase power for my Bus conversion. My one sticky point for 240v output is that my plasma cutter runs on it.
my question is. Can I have them ready to take 240 and 120 inputs. What I want is to have a shore/generator input AND a basic 120v 15a input for a basic drop chord.
So I’m pretty settled at this point. I’m going to have 4700w of solar so I’m just going to have a single 120ac input that can be “plugged in” to various sources. Just set the input to 10A and plug into either any outlet, my generator, or(when driving) the original 2500w inverter connected to the start batteries. I don’t think I’ll need much more than 10A of extra and if so, I can set the amps higher and use a 20A outlet.
