Use of Inverter as a substitute for main grid

I have a Victron Phoenix Blue Power Inverter 12V/180VA true sinewave in my camping car. At home I use solar panels with a total of 440 watt peak with inverters connected to the 230V grid. Can I use the Phoenix inverter as a substitute for the main grid?

Are you asking if the Victron Phoenix Inverter can make your PV inverters think a grid is available so they will stay on during a power outage or substitute for the grid altogether? Simply put, no. However, you could do it with a MultiPlus or Quattro because they can be programmed to modulate the voltage and frequency to control the outputs of the PV inverters. The simpler Phoenix inverters don’t have that functionality. I won’t get into the details, but the Multi/Quattro must also be sufficiently sized to accommodate the potential AC power back-feeding into them from the PV inverters.

Ed,

Thank you. I know enough.
