Use Multiplus 2000 w/shore power only, no solar or batteries hooked up

Hi -
COMPLETE newbie here. Have vintage TT with professionally installed Multiplus 2000 so I won’t be able to answer any configuration/wiring questions. Was set-up for solar and battery but have given up on solar since we are mostly camping in heavily treed areas. Solar panels are disconnected and removed, two 6v batteries but they are pretty much dead and don’t hold much of a charge. We plan on replacing the batteries but not until next year since we only have one or two more trips left this season.

Upcoming trip with shore power. Fridge is 120v and we have a couple of outlets for coffee maker/charging phones, etc. and rest is 12v.

Do we:
a) just run off of shore power without the Multiplus on (assuming no since converter still required?)
b) run off of shore power with Multiplus on (what mode?) but with batteries disconnected so it’s not constantly trying to charge dead batteries (not sure if this is an issue or not)
c) run off of shore power with Multiplus on (what mode?) and batteries connected (even though unable to hold much of a charge)

Thanks
Julie

The Multiplus needs the DC Voltgae to run.
The sticker on the right side of my MPII says:

Disconnect the supply before making or braking the connection to the battery

So option a. But I think the Sockets inside the camper are connected to the AC-Out, so wires from and to the Multi must be bridged
