Upgrading from BMV 602S to BMV 712 Smart - Can I use existing communication cable?

I would like to replace my working BMV 602S with a BMV 712 Smart.

I will replace the shunt and the display unit. However, I am unable to access/replace the communication cable from the shunt to the display unit.

QUESTION: Is the communication cable compatible between the 602S/712Smart - will the new shunt / new display / old (existing) communication cable work together?

Hi,

As long as the connectors are still properly attached to the cable, the old cable should work just fine with the new BMV712.
