A small UI issue has appeared over the last few days on the mobile view, and I believe it may have been introduced by a recent layout or spacing change.
I’m using an iPhone 17 Pro Max running iOS 27 beta. I’ve confirmed the behaviour in Safari, and I’ve also checked it on a device running the stable iOS 26 release. The same issue appears there, so it doesn’t seem to be specific to the beta, the app or one particular device. It appears more likely to be related to the mobile layout or scaling.
For example, on the Essential Loads card, the spacing between L1 and the power value has become much larger than before. Previously, L1, the wattage and the frequency comfortably fitted on a single line. Now, because of the increased spacing, the frequency is pushed onto a second line, making the card significantly taller.
The same spacing issue appears across essentially all cards, including the PV Inverter, PV Charger, BMV/SmartShunt and EV Charging Station cards. Voltage, current, power and other values are now distributed with noticeably more space between them than before. It therefore appears to be a broader mobile layout or scaling issue rather than something affecting one particular card.
The result is that every card occupies more vertical space, substantially reducing the amount of useful information visible at a glance. Personally, I would actually like the interface to become even more compact than it was previously, whereas the recent change has moved it in the opposite direction.
I’ve attached a screenshot to illustrate what I mean.
While mentioning UI efficiency, I also have one suggestion regarding the EV Charging Station card.
To make the EV card even more compact, I think the Mode field could be relocated from the body of the card. Since it only indicates Auto or Manual, it could instead be represented by a small A or M superscript in the header. Likewise, the charging current could also be displayed as a small superscript, similar to how the BMV/SmartShunt widgets present key information in the header.
This would leave the body of the card focused on the primary charging information while making the overall layout noticeably more compact and easier to scan. Small refinements like this, together with the spacing adjustment mentioned above, would help make the mobile interface feel even cleaner and more information-dense.
For those of us who mainly monitor our systems from a phone, information density matters. The goal is being able to glance at the screen and immediately see as much useful information as possible without unnecessary whitespace.
Victron products are known for engineering efficiency. It would be great if the mobile interface reflected that same philosophy by making the layout as information-dense and efficient as practical.
