I have a ESS system with 3Ph Multiplus2 and Cerbo GX.
I have a SolarEdge inverter on the output and it is setup for showing production in Victron through SunSpec.
This worked fine until I had trouble with the communication card in the SolarEdge inverter and had to change the card.
Now my problem is that I can’t get the SolarEdge to show up again. All the settings in Solar edge is the same as before what I can see..
I guess the solar edge inverter has the same name as before but a new MAC address because of the new com- card don’t know if that has something to do with my problem.
I tried to delete it from integrations and add it again but can’t find a way to delete it from settings integrations and no new inverter shows up when searching for it even when I set up a static IP and add that adress manually.
Can someone help me with what I should check next?
I don’t know if the problem is in the SolarEdge or Victron side of things.
Best regards
Andreas
Today I had the firmware updated in the SolareEdge inverter. But it made no difference. Does somebody know how I can delete the inverter 7E176C9 from Cerbo so I can try to find it again. ( I suspect I get some kind of conflict because it has the same name but now with a new communication card a new MAC adress?)
A sure fire way (and simlplest) is to flash the cerbo to factory defaults.
Hi, thanks
Is there an easy way to take a backup off all settings before the factory reset or is it just to write down or take a picture of each page that is the best way to do it. Before the reset.
No there is no curren way to back up the GX menu settings.
Take a picture of each page is the way.
Okay, thanks for the help.
Now I didn’t have to do a factory reset because I found the fault when going through the pages.
It was a basic fault😆.
When I installed the system I must have tested to first connect to my Guest network but it has always connected to my home network until now. So now I just had to “forget” the guest network and The SolarEdge inverter appeared again!
Lol
Fantastic.
