I “heard” that Victron is developing an upgraded version of the Multiplus 2. I hope that this will use the Multi RS technology without the MPPT part and has all the features of the Multiplus. The versions suppose to be the 4500 and 6500 I believe which indicates their VA capacity.
Anyone knows more about a release date? Or the possibility of a pre-order, a really want to build my new system with an upgraded version of the Multiplus 2.
Hi, welcome.

I would be surprised at a son of multiplus, considering the other (high voltage) projects we are aware of and the ongoing work on the RS.
I think someone gave you the wrong end of the stick.
Ok, no problem for me and maybe the transformers will actually also have a benefit when it comes to inductive loads damping etc.
It seems that the new RS though, without the transformer, is a great improvement and you would expect that they would “upgrade” the multiplus with the same technology which would make it lighter, more efficient en silent.
Great! The Datasheet is out. That fuels my hope they will maybe certify the new models in time for my project this winter. I really hope for the 6k5 to be allowed in austria.
Are these models already for sale? Is there also a way to see for which regions they are certified for? I’m also considering the 6k5 for the upcoming project (Netherlands)
