A mttp controller has a streetlight function build in. With a smaller mttp you can used de load output to control a light ficture.
I have two mttp controller. One for the panels on the roof of the fan. This is a bigger mttp without the load output. And a smaller mttp for a mobile solar array.
The question is: Can I use the streetlight function of the smaller mttp still when de mobile array is not connected. And look to the other mttp for de solar level.
yes, the load /streetlamp output is independent of the PV input. However, if the streetlamp function relies on the PV input voltage for switching on and off (I’ve never tried this) then you may have some issues.

Thank you for your replay. I thought nobody would react anymore.
So what your saying is that the streetlamp function probelbly relies on the pv voltage from its own device and not another pv input.
Do you have a way of testing this? I need to know this before I buy de componets.
