Hello.
I have a question regarding the temperature compensated charging on a 12vdc AGM battery using SmartSolar MPPT 75/15 charger.
According to the manual on page 22, the absorption and float voltage drops to 12vdc when battery temperature raises to 50 degree Celsius.
But once the battery temperature raises to 60 degrees Celsius, the absorption and float voltage is gone back to 14.4v and 13.8v respectively with -16mV/degree as coefficiency.
Can I ask what is the reason behind that? Since the AGM battery only allows to charge at 50 degree Celsius maximum, it could cause fire if the charger restarts charging at 60 degree Celsius.
Thanks and have a good day.
