In the manual of SmartSolar MPPT 100/50 is written

„Do not connect the solar charger to a grounded PV array"

But I want to install in in a camper with two 220W seriell conected solarpanels with minus on chassis (Ground)

Measurement shows that both minus poles of solar and battery are internally connected in the charger,

My Question: could I connect the solar panel with a minus on chassis (Ground in Camper)

“Grounded” means the connection of minus or plus af the Modules to ground. It means not the grounding of the metal frame of the modul
