Smartshunt and battery monitor question - Two Starter Batteries & Four House Batteries Boat

My main objective is to determine how long my batteries will last while watching a movie on my 12-volt TV. I want to run the refrigerator and the water pumps at the same time to see how long it takes for the batteries to drain, as I do not have a generator on the boat.

I have a 27-foot cabin cruiser that is equipped with two starting batteries and four house batteries. I also have a Garmin EchoMap 9 that I would like to integrate into the system.

I’m considering using multiple smart shunts to monitor both the starter battery bank and the house battery bank, but I’m not sure what else I will need to display the remaining time before the batteries drain. I don’t have a generator on the boat, but I do have a 1500-watt inverter and a large battery charger.

I’m looking for advice on what equipment I need and a possible wiring diagram to help set everything up.

A single smartshunt set up correctly will give you great monitoring of your house batteries and has a terminal for auxiliary battery voltage monitoring. The interface for the smartshunt in the VictronConnect app will give you real time amperage in and out as well as a “time remaining” readout. Having an additional smartshunt on your starting battery bank is possible but may not be necessary.

The app will give you all this data, or you could use a Cerbo and GX touch with the smartshunt as well.
